Your summer glow essentials

School’s out, out of office is on and the latest New York Times Bestseller is downloaded on your tablet. But what about your wash bag is it overflowing with your entire bathroom cabinet? In an ideal world we’d love to take our whole beauty regime on holiday with us but when there’s a 20kg baggage allowance to adhere to it’s time to rethink, rejig and repack.

When formulating our range multi-tasking products was very important to us. We wanted each of our products to be a stand alone, results driven product but also be able to double up and help save a little time in our already busy lives. We think we’ve achieved this, so read on to discover which products from the KELSEY range our Ops Director, Becky will be packing in her suitcase this year.

If I could take all three concentrates with me, I would. A hydrating dewy glow from Full Bloom followed by the protecting benefits of Morn to Eve and then a cooling depuff in the evening as I apply my Three Moons straight from the fridge.

But this year, it’s Full Bloom  which is coming with me. Plumping my skin and giving a hydrating collagen boost without leaving it feeling sticky due to its ultra-light weight texture. It’s perfect for daytime, no make-up, just a gorgeous glow. You can even use it on the tips of your hair to smooth fly aways and after swimming frizz. When it comes to the evening, add a couple of drops to your foundation for a lighter feel and to give back some much needed moisture after sun exposure. Or add a drop to your night cream, (obviously Midnight Reset, but other brands are available!) for a really indulgent boost.

If is is Three Moons or Morn to Eve  which are sneaking their way into your washbag, then they also have some superb benefits and their own little multi-tasking secrets. Morn to Eve  with its shielding benefits doubles as a lightweight moisturiser under your sunscreen and don’t forget you can top it up during the day to add extra hydration and protection. It’s a lovely one to pop in your hand luggage to treat parched skin on plane. Three Moons has such a silky texture, leaving skin super soft and smooth, it also works as a fantastic primer under make-up. And we’ve already mentioned how soothing and cooling it is after a day in the sun, it may slip into my packing after all!

Next into the bag is Luminous Glow Radiant Glow Cleanser, it’s a no-brainer. Effortlessly removing make-up, sunscreen and toxins from the skin, I wouldn’t go away without it. But our award-winning cleanser ticks the multi-task box too. Give your skin a mid-week pick me up by treating it to a mini mask and facial. Apply a generous layer to your face, leave on for 10 minutes or so, perhaps while you enjoy your Greek yoghurt and fresh fruit or your pre-dinner sundowner on the balcony! Your skin will thank you for putting back some goodness by giving you a glow to rival any Santorini sunset. You could also apply a thin layer before bed as an extra overnight treat and you’ll wake up with skin as soft as the pillow you slept on.

My final KELSEY product is of course Midnight Reset. Doubling up as a moisturiser under my SPF in the morning, it’s one less product to fit into my bag.
