The story behind the boxes - Morn to Eve

Our packaging tells stories, some of which have been told for centuries. Tales from the land and folklore, of goddesses, animals and plants. They are each themed and unique to reflect the product within.

Each carton has been individually designed by Fez Inkwright a Bristol-based illustrator in collaboration with KELSEY. Fez’s main focus lies in conservation, folklore and ethnobotanical themes. This is the study of how people of a particular culture and region make use of native plants.

This May we're showcasing our Morn to Eve Global Protection Concentrate box.

On either side of the box we have morning and evening represented by the sun and moon, both glowing in their own way and demonstrating the morning to evening protection this luxurious serum provides.

The Romans believed in Janus, the god of metaphorical doors and transitions, of beginnings and endings. They believed that at dawn and dusk there were gateways between two worlds, the here and there and the possibility of re-creation. We’ve captured this liminal space with our illustrated doors, transitioning through them to a new day and what is to come.

The white stag is a symbol of British folklore, the personification of nature untamed and its power.

And of course our raspberry. The leaf here entwined with the whole illustration reflects the powerful, protective elements of the leaf polyphenols. Together with the fruit and flower, as our Morn to Eve contains all three aspects of our upcycled raspberry plants.
