Gorgeous glowing skin that doesn’t cost the earth

Saturday April 22, unless you’ve been hiding behind a mountain of single-use plastic afraid to come out, is Earth Day.

Designated as a day to raise awareness of environmental issues, its often celebrated by both collectives and individuals, with everything from educational classes in schools to commercial pledges to do a few small things each day to make the world a healthier place to live.

Surprisingly, given the rapidly accelerating pace of sustainable development, Earth Day was actually first conceived in the 60s, way before much of the convenient plastic packaging we’ve come to demonise was even in circulation. And given that around one billion people globally now recognise Earth Day, why are we still so far behind where we need to be in order to protect resources for future generations?

And how can we, as individuals, really have an impact?

Team Kelsey have always been invested in sustainable approaches to development, and the fantastic work at the farm, from maximising crop output to capturing rain water, helped out lay the foundation for our mission to develop sustainable skincare that goes above and beyond.

Not content with investing in recycled plastic , saying no to PVC pipettes, insisting on carbon neutral cartons and refillable glass, we are passionate about putting our waste back to work and recognising the diamonds in the dust, so to speak. (Not literal diamonds you understand, but if you uncover any sitting under your rose bush, you have our permission to celebrate). 

Precious raspberry puree, leaves and seeds that would otherwise be wasted due to imperfections within the crop are at the heart of our skincare, feeding the skin with masses of protective polyphenols, glow-giving vitamins, plumping fatty acids and shielding anti-oxidants. No fruit left behind, fundamentally.

We’ve always been advocates of what we call ‘considered development’.
